- Video analysis in sleep apnoea and snoring, including localisation of obstructions in obstructive sleep apnoea and the cause of snoring noise
- Frequency analysis in snoring to diagnose the cause
- Developing new surgical procedures, such as Leica head-mounted microscope-assisted Coblation lingual tonsillectomy or hyoid pharyngoplasty
- Microcirculation and atherosclerosis
- Treatment options in Duchenne muscular dystrophy
- Molecular biological causes of congenital deafness
